About / Contact

Jack Scott and Tom Middleton, collectively Crooked Cynics - are filmmakers who direct, produce, and edit.

Their documentary work includes directing / associate producing the feature ‘Bastille: ReOrchestrated’ for Amazon Prime, which charts the band’s evolution over 10 years through intimate archive footage.

They also currently have two new feature documentaries in development - ‘Saints Go Marching’ and ‘SindhuWorld’.

Alongside their own projects, they work as long-form editors across a range of series for TV and streaming platforms.

Together, they have directed and edited multiple mockumentaries, including the online cult series ‘Community Patrol’ for Mr Box, ‘Creative Director’ for Arsenal FC, and the music short ‘House Agents’ for BBC’s People Just Do Nothing. They have also directed music videos for artists including Jason Derulo, Bastille and Rag’n’Bone Man.
