Award-Winning directing/writing duo of Documentaries, Comedy, Commercials & Music Videos, based in London and Manchester.
After their childhood dreams to make it as wrestling superstars were crushed, along with their weak little bones, Tom Middleton and Jack Scott, collectively Crooked Cynics, thought of another dream they could have instead, so they quickly left the Midlands to make some films.
They currently write, direct and edit comedy, commercials and music videos for TV and online, as well as a few serious pieces sprinkled in there for good measure. Their most viewed video to date is “Lay My Body Down” for Rag'n'Bone Man, which now has over 38 million views.
Their comedy shorts and sketches have been featured in British Comedy Guide, and screened at a number of festivals; being shortlisted for the TAASH Award for Comedy, for their film ‘Censless’ at London Short Film Festival, while winning Best Comedy for their film ‘The Paramedics’ at Top Shorts. Together, they have worked with a number of award-winning music artists and BAFTA-winning comedy performers, though will still do pretty much anything that makes them laugh.
